Hello, and welcome to the latest Sunday selfie from the Chumley & Hudson Investigation Team!
Mrs H and I are still on holiday, though we will be extending it slightly as events elsewhere have meant we both have had 'other' things to do and sort out.
The UMM summer heatwave has thankfully dropped to mid 20s centigrade, though the A/C continues in the main rooms of the Manor House. I prefer the sofa in the gardeners cottage to lounge on as there is a lovely early morning breeze flies through the open stable door and the wafting incense sticks, and the sound of the dawn chorus lull me into a welcome early nap.
Here you see me this morning, yes it was actually a selfie taken ON Sunday, catching some shuteye after a night of patrolling the grounds.

It seems the worst of our heat is over, but it's still hot summer and lots of humidity. Precious and I keep busy reading.

ReplyDeleteJuly was miserable here 3 weeks of 95 F plus with feels like 105 F temperatrues.
We are currently in a much more pleasant time.

Cute selfie, Erin. The heatwave continues here in Essex, UK. Temps dropped a bit but it'll be heating up again tomorrow.

ReplyDeleteThat's a beautiful selfie, ERin! That early morning breeze and the dawn chorus sound lovely. Here, by 7am, it's already in the upper 20s Celsius! Of course, We're used to that kind of heat in summer - but it's still pretty uncomfortable. Mummy is dreaming of the rainy English summers She knew in her youth) Seems that those days are long gone (the rainy summers, that is - MOL).
