     If you saw my Photo Fails post Friday, you'll know that light and dark can be awkward to manage in a picture, and striking a balance is a very fine line.

     Every now and then though, Mrs H gets it right. . . . . .

Erin's August Photo Fails¡¡¡

Welcome to the 'Pet Photo Fails' blog Hop!!!

     Welcome one and all to what Mrs H has informed me is NOT the Sunday Selfies, rather the Pet Photo Fails Blog Hop!

      The awesome Melissa's Mochas, Mysteries and Meows has kindly taken over this awesome hop from our dearly departed friend, Roby Sweet of the Cuddlywumps Cat Chronicles AKA The Old SoLT, as Miss C liked to call her.

     Once a month, the last Friday of the month, we will be getting together to share Mrs H's not so talented photographic efforts.... OK, so I did have a paw in some of them and maybe an ear or another bodily part in others but I blame Mrs H squarely and fairly for everything else.

    This month we have had a right mixed bag of fails – over exposure, under exposure, and some exposures that didn't even feature yours truly! Yup, can you believe that with the one objective of getting ME in the shot, Mrs H still managed to come up, and down, trumps. Maybe that expression needs revising in light of these fails?

     Without further ado I give you a my pick of the embarrassing moments, HIGHS and LOWS of this months best outtakes. . . . . .

     Sinking to new LOWS is this clandestine shot of yours truly – so clandestine that I don't even appear, MOL.

 

     This, Mrs H claims, is an impressionist piece called 'The Space Between Light and Dark', or 'Fifty shades of Black and One shade of Grey'! (see bottom right for hint of grey) Personally, I call this the space between camera and unopened camera case, MOL

     The HIGHLIGHT, if you'll excuse the pun, of this weeks vari-focal visions and vistas of variance (aka mistakes!) is this. . . . . Any titles for this piece will be gratefully received as I am flummoxed as to what to call it – and how Mrs H had the time to lay down on the job!

     OK, so one last one for you all to savour. We do like playing with light and colour, well, black and white at least, but this one is, I think, beyond help. The title for this glaring gaff is White Out!


     Well that's enough Photo Fails from Mrs H and I – well mostly Mrs H as I am generally ends up being abused on film, MOL, so it just remains for me to say:
