A birthday message.

And now here is my selfie for the week:-

     In this weeks selfie you can see yours truly hard asleep inwardly digesting the cold facts and figures after a very busy and bleak session with the accountant, and Mrs H. All said and done the estate has not broken even this year,  in fact Mrs H's pension (and her sherry fund) has been exceeded twice over. Belts will have to be tightened, and corsets cinched in 2019, for sure.

     At this time of year, which for me does not mean Christmas, my thoughts turn to my birthday on the 25th, and the time when I was rescued. I count myself lucky–nay blessed, that I have a roof over my head, food and water, and warmth and friendship. For those in my old shelter, I will be taking some more boxes of food as a thank you, and in part to repay the large debt I owe them for caring for me when my kittens and I were very much in need. I have realised since my adoption, that the opportunity for a new life, to help or save a life, can be as simple and easy as reaching out a paw, or hand, to one in need. . .

     It just remains for me to wish and hope that for our readers, and those out there on the streets or in shelters, and those in need, that the 25th brings as much new light, hope, and happiness into your lives and those around and about you, as it did for me.

   In this weeks selfie I can be seen practicing my clarinet pose for the village Jazz Night I shall be hosting. Mrs H says I should do the silent versions whilst I practice rather than wake the neighbours five miles away. I agreed as long as she sang silent night, with the emphasis on the silent. MOL
