Pet Photo Fails OR Who's calling the shots?

Welcome to the 'Pet Photo Fails' blog Hop!!!

Welcome one and all to what Mrs H has informed me is NOT the Sunday Selfies, rather the Pet Photo Fails Blog Hop!

Melissa's Mochas, Mysteries and Meows has kindly taken over this awesome hop from our dearly departed friend, Roby Sweet of the Cuddlywumps Cat Chronicles AKA The Old SoLT, as Miss C liked to call her.

Once a month, the last Friday of the month, we will be getting together to share Mrs H's not so talented photographic efforts.... OK, OK so I did have a paw in some of them and maybe an ear or another bodily part in others but I blame Mrs H squarely and fairly for everything else.

Now last weeks Sunday Selfie should have been a nice easy affair, but sort of went along the lines thus:

You said look to the left . . .  I AM looking to the left!

What do you mean 'your right'? I KNOW I'm right – I'm a princess.
Now just tell me which way to look, why don't you . . .

I AM looking straight ahead . . . It's not my fault you're so tall!

Is that Mouse en Croute, I see? Well, why didn't you just say that in the first place?

As you can see, all's well that ends en croute! MOL

Go on, now show us YOUR Photo Fails.......

Sunday 20 January 2019

Imperfectly perfect.

Hello and welcome to The Sunday Selfies!

We are joining The Kitties Blue, from The Cat on My Head blog, for the weekly celebration of blogs and bloggers from across the world and across the species.

To join in, get the Linky link code from their website– add it to your page– and enjoy the hop!

And now here is my selfie for the week:-

Like our pal, Summer, who is a consummate professional in such matters–and way better than I at such things, I do have to do a photo shoot every now and then, for competition entries, Christmas cards, the blog, and as part of my royal household duties.

Recently we had to pull out of one UK national competition, in which we'd secured a place in the finals, as the distance to the finale venue, hosted by a true TV celebrity, was just too far for me. Travelling to, into and around our busy capital city really isn't easy at the best of times for a human, let alone a small shy cat in my Sleepy Pod. The whole trip would have been filled with logistical issues for my own wellbeing, comfort and safety, over what would have been an extremely long 16 hour day.

So alas, that competition and a chance of stardom as the face of a big corporate, had to be bowed out of gracefully.

This week's selfie is from a recent photoshoot for a yet to be entered competition, and is entitled . . .  Well,I will let our dear readers decide what we should call this one.

Have you guys ever had to make a decision that meant you lost out on something that could have changed your life?

Mrs H says to me, when I begin to doubt myself because of my rough edges and wrong-side-of-the–track past, that I am imperfectly perfect, and very special–like all cats are–no matter their pedigree. It is what's in your heart that matters, not the size or shape of your ears.

Real cats rock, always have and always will . . .

Please help Katie and Lily fight back from illness. . .Miss Savvy, TKS and their mom, Linda have a fund raiser going on for two kittens, Katie and Lily, who were rescued from dire circumstances in a chronic hoarding situation. To see more, and to share, please follow the link HERE....
