Sunday Selfie and the UMMP

Hello, and welcome to a another weekend selfie. 

This week, we, and that is the royal we, ie Mrs H and Ned the gardener, have been preparing for a major event to be held at the Manor House in the next few days. There will be guests from around the globe, as well as royalty and a president. Two canine pals of ours should be coming, too, and have promised only to bit the ankles of local politicians. But to be on the safe side, I have suggested the vicar wears his reinforced cassock. Trouble fun and delight will come in equal from three kittens, who, along with their mom, Esme, will be making a guest appearance. To find out more, watch out for a special mid-week post!

OK, so mysteries aside, Mrs H has been busy with her new internet connection. Yup, the string has been strung from the downstairs window and, thanks to the help of some bale twin and oddments of fence posts secured across fields and hedges by Ned, now reaches to Upper Much-Mousing Library. We now have, for a very reasonable fee, 24hr connection to as much data as Ms Brend Wormley (librarian and insomniac) can shout down the tin can at us. We have named this service The UMM-Pedia! We are hoping it catches on, as additional strings to Mrs Singh's International Emporium would mean we can do on-string shopping! Do you all have a version of the UMMP?

Anyways, enough of the frivolities, here's a selfie of me, hostess to the stars, trying out my casual 'this happens every day' kind of casual look.
