High Plains Sefie

Hello and welcome to The Sunday Selfies!

We are joining The Kitties Blue, from The Cat on My Head blog, for the weekly celebration of blogs and bloggers from across the world and across the species.

To join in, get the Linky link code from their website, add it to your page, and enjoy the hop!

And now here is my selfie for the week:-

As I am nice and trim these days, thanks to my Orijen Fit and Trim diet, I thought I would watch some of my African relatives and see how they do the speed thing, and maybe get a few pointers.

For this week's selfie, I thought I would try an action shot of me practising dashing across the plains in search of the elusive wildebeest mice.

I thought I captured just the right impression of speed, together with just a hint of photographic poise and charm... As to the Wildebeest? Well, let's just say that as it was an impression, I did just fine, MOL

To see what our pals are up to this week, click the links below, and Enjoy the Hop!

Chapter 33 of our 36 part record-breaking smash hit soon to be serialised International Best Seller adventure is out Monday.

I can assure my readers that there is no requirement to undertake high plains sprints, and no wildebeest will be hurt..... though I can't vouch for what may happen to Anders!

Till tomorrow, this is a Great Plains Fit and Trim huntress, Erin, signing off!

    1. Thank you, it is harder to do that pose than it looks as looking backwards can be hazardous whilst sprinting ;)

    1. Sadly no mice as I was chasing the wildebeest mice. Now as to palm trees, hmm, well Mrs H probably would object to all the soil everywhere, not to mention dates and coconuts dropping over the floors! I will ask as sounds like cheap alternative to air con!

  10. Oh Princess, I bet our African Ancestors would be impurr-essed with your methods and maybe even stop by for some tips! They may even want to retire from their wild way of life and take up residence in your village and take up drinking cream and eating biscuits with you in the afternoon. I can see it all now. You might need to set the table for a lot of company. Maybe dinner is Wildabeesties?! Tee hee hee.

Paw kisses and nuzzles to you my dearest. -Valentino (& Mom) of Noir Kitty Mews

    1. I hope so, I could show them around the village and could do a relay race around the village pond to support the orphaned ducklings. Then as you say, home for tea and scones! Hmm, wildebeest BBQ would be awesome, alfresco with a sprig of nip and cream garnish :)
