Best Paw Forward . . .

Hello and welcome to The Sunday Selfies!

We are joining The Kitties Blue, from The Cat on My Head blog, for the weekly celebration of blogs and bloggers from across the world and across the species.

To join in, get the Linky link code from their website– add it to your page– and enjoy the hop!

And now here is my selfie for the week:-

As most of my visitors know, I am not one for slacking. I do take my inherited role of Princess, ruler of Upper Much-Mousing, and Estate Manager of our . . . Er . . .  Estate, and the chair-lady of the village  FWI very, very seriously, and try to always lead by example.

Mrs H says I do this very well, especially when it comes to napping. I am sure that is a compliment and one that most of my fellow felines can appreciate, and be proud of, too.

Mrs H says being a 'lady' (or a gentleman) be they feline or human, is not a title but a state of mind. And so a lady should always put her best foot forwards and hold her head up high in this modern world, else all that we have strived for will be repressed by the male chauvinists of life.

Of course, there are no such things as those in the cat world, but I have met a tomcat or two that needed to be put in his place MOL. Anyways once you have held your head up high, you will be empowered and able to look anyone square in the eye . . .  of course if you find they happen to be taller than you, I do recommend either getting them to lay down, or for you to climbing onto a shelf so you can stare down at them.

Anyways this week's selfie is of me putting my best paw forward. In true equanimity, next week I will be rotating the title of 'Best Paw', and it will be the front left paw and so on around.

How do you guys plan on putting your best foot forward this week?

Please help Katie and Lily fight back from illness. . .

Miss Savvy, TKS and their mom, Linda have a fund raiser going on for two kittens, Katie and Lily, who were rescued from dire circumstances in a chronic hoarding situation. If you can help by sharing or donating, no matter how much, please do click the badge above, or click the link HERE....

  11. You are a grr-eat role model for young lady kitties, Princess. I bet all those from the village, young and old alike, look up to you for your wisdom and grace. Kisses fair be-au-ty -- you bring out the sun on a rainy day. Your Prince, V.
