Sitting Pretty for the Sunday Selfies!

Hello and welcome to The Sunday Selfies!

We are joining The Kitties Blue, from The Cat on My Head blog, for the weekly celebration of blogs and bloggers from across the world and across the species.

To join in, get the Linky link code from their website– add it to your page– and enjoy the hop!

And now here is my selfie for the week:-

After last weeks end of year review with Mrs H, I decided to start the new month with a tour of my many kingdoms. Here I can be seen surveying the work area, where Mrs H and I edit and cogitate and deliberate the stories we write... much akin to Dr Watson writing up Sherlock's adventures back at 221b Baker Street. Of course I do have one advantage over our pal, Sherlock, and that is I can sit on the shelving above the computer without breaking them! MOL

How do you guys like to watch your staff work and rest and play?

To see what our pals are up to this week, please go to the Kitties Blue site, or if available, click the links below, and Enjoy the Hop!

    1. Lofty, but not in a remote way. Just far enough away to evade the vacuum but close enough to check out the staff and any treats ;)

    1. Oh yes, though Mrs H always says I shouldn't think too hard as it will ruin my appetite. Not quite sure what she means by that?

    1. Thank you, one must always pose correctly for the press as well as the selfies. It also shows the staff that I rule with a firm stare and a soft paw. I thought I may use this one for a postage stamp?

  9. I have two work stations, the kitchen table for writing, and Milo ignores me. My quilt making studio is where he comes in, pushes me over to look out the window, huffs loudly as he settles down to sleep. Lately I'm hand sewing in front of the tv, and he's way too interested in what I am holding so close... must be a treat

    1. Aww, I can see why he might think it's a treat, around here all endeavours are aimed at furnishing my needs... though I have to say I haven't yet managed to get two work stations!

    1. Hi Ruby! Should you come by I will have an extra special Airedale spot made for you to perch on, too. I do get very good views, as you say, but best of all are the treats I hunt down as a wander along walk ways and jump from pillar to post. The treats are my reward for exercising–low calorie though so I don't put back on what I lose, MOL

  18. That's a good spot to supervise Mrs. H's goings on. I bet you have all the best views of your kingdom from your palace, too, Princess. And that tower surely gives prime perspectives of the mousie prey in the fields below. I would climb the highest tower to give you a kiss my lil' black-and-white Beauty. Tee hee hee. Oh well, if you are offering to come and scale my tallest towers, the least I can do is lay on a nice buffet and some drinks... maybe some soft music, too ;) I shall be in the west wing tower after dark, if you happen to be around later...

    1. Oh thank you, I try not to be spooky or sinister when I watch on. But I do like to get involved so after I have validated the staffs actions I get stuck into the fray and then lead the team to a conclusion and my supper, NOT that things revolve around food in my home ;)
