Full Steam Ahead!

Hello and welcome to The Sunday Selfies!

We are joining The Kitties Blue, from The Cat on My Head blog, for the weekly celebration of blogs and bloggers from across the world and across the species.

To join in, get the Linky-Link code from their website– add it to your page– and enjoy the hop!

And now here is my selfie for the week:-

Mrs H was in a 'dark mood' when it came to processing my selfies film this week, mainly because she achieved new heights in  the photo fails area. So this week I am here in glorious Techni-black-and-white, rather than 'real life' black-and-white.

Anyways, Mrs H was saying I should demonstrate how I always put my back into everything I do, including breaking the palace cat-flap as I charge bull like through the door when I here the dinner gong sound.

So here, for all you young bulls is how I approach any obstacle in my way, namely four paws down head curled and bravely charge. Needless to say not even Mrs H's leggings (pictured left) can withstand such a barrage, though one does have to be careful that the said obstacle doesnt move out the way before hand else things can get a tad embarrassing, MOL

Do feel free to share your methods for tackling obstacles between you and your food, and when things maybe haven't gone as planned . . .

To see what our pals are up to this week, please go to the Kitties Blue site, or if available, click the links below, and Enjoy the Hop!

  6. Impressive, Erin! Important stuff like food does require full effort. Ava totally agrees -- she charges in like a herd of elephants when the dinner bell rings. :)

Great selfie. Hugs to you and Mrs. H!

  9. Erin that is a wonderfur curvey Selfie. At our house we jump over obstacles and Dad is hardly ever one of those and he is easy to dodge around. We also can do big circles running around the big fireplace into the cat room and back to the hall and around or to cut off someone by going right through the door into the hallway. Hee Hee then we reverse direction. Purrs

    1. Wow, you do jumping too–that sounds brilliant. Here Mrs H has moved most things out of my way so I have a line of sight to my food. I do like to chase mice and sometimes my toys and have been known on rare occasions to run over Mrs H but I think thats her fault for falling asleep on the bed ;) MOL
I like the idea of having team races. Around here as only me, I don't have the chance. Maybe we should start an International racing tour where teams can fly the globe and race around different courses set in shapes of house layouts..... Hows about calling it Cat Formula Racing! ;)

  10. You are all curled up like those lil' pink shrimps Mom likes to eat sometimes (she doesn't usually share them with me, though). But of course you are no shrimp. If you were of the sea you would be the sea goddess. You are my black-and-white earth goddess and princess of my heart. 1. Aww, you are always my no.1 sea prince and masterful mariner (Mrs H says that isn't anything to do with food, sadly) and I would love to be on land and by your side, princess or not.
Kisses gratefully accepted and I send doves laden with lots for you, too.

    1. Leggings just to left of image, nice thermal ones that Mrs H uses when she's out gardening, or in bed, when it gets cold and fire not lit.
Thanks, we cats have mastered the correct poses for all medical needs. Yes, we could well be. Do you want me to come and visit, as it would be nice to have a relative in warmer climate, and we could swap techniques on mousing and tell stories about our humans whilst they are away shopping . . .
