Sunday selfie

Hello, and welcome to our 'NOT a book review' selfie. For those that don't like long posts I shall make this one as short as possible.

Here is me after a week of topsy turvy weather, starting hot and now raining. Autumn has finally come. And sad as it is to see summer (but not the heat) go, nature has its path to take. Longer nights and shorter days mean more nap time too, and that has to be good.

More book reviews will happen, but not for a few weeks. Mrs H has lots to do, not least reading the books!

Do I look bored in this? And is that sunburn on my nose? Maybe it's because I've not had a holiday this year, or any years?

And if the latter is the case, I'll just head off for an extra long nap and dream of new and exotic places to go to.

    That is a lovely selfie, Erin. The weather has been stupid here as well, torrential rain all through Thursday and the night, then widespread flooding on Friday. We are lucky, we live on a hill, but the village was flooded.

      I wish we had more sooner, but we are having showers which barely see to wet anything. Fields like dust and horses and sheep eking out rations. Hopefully the village wont get further damage and flooding when more comes. I feel sorry for anyone that is caught in it.

    Princess ERin, we are glad to have much cooler temps here too. You can lay in the sun longer without fear of overheating, like I've been doing. When you and Mrs H read a good book we will be sure to look fur it here. Have a great week ahead and enjoy.

    Dearest Erin,
    I, Marvelous Marv, wanted to let you know that I have included you in my most recent adventure....I know it has been forever since Mom has helped any of us do a story BUT I insisted that we do one for this year's Pirate Day - You know how much I, Marvelous LOVE being a pirate! I even invited the Kracken from Catlantis to pawticipate. In Part 3 of the 4 part adventure (it will publish on the 16th/next Tuesday), I have included you, Erin the Cat Princess to vanquish the Kraken with your magic wand as you slide down a moonbeam. I would LOVE to send you your official Pirate Crew pawtrait (which will appear on the blog that day), but we can't find your email anywhere. It is probably on the old laptop which now resides in the basement and is only pulled out to burn CDs. Anyway, I do think you look marvelous darling!
