Mr Mins is Open for Tickles

Hello, and welcome to our latest Sunday selfie from the Chumley & Hudson Investigation Team!

This week it is Mr Mins go at a selfie. Well, in truth, as he was the only one who would pose long enough in any one place that wasnt outdoors or hidden in a wardrobe, I elected him! Frankly that dude sleeps like 25 hours a day, with power munchie breaks in between, and still finds time for 5 hours worth of outdoor patrols each evening!

Though he was caught out and went too far and too long out from his base of operations earlier this week. Mr Mins (aka Mr Minstrel, Minsie Moo to one of his fans) strayed or dallied one evening and didn't return to his base at Ms Carrroll's home when called. He thus spent all night out in the dark. And whilst he shrugged it off in his loving, tomcat way, Ms Carroll could tell this one time stray really missed her cosy bed routine that he has slipped into since he was rescued. So much so that the ensuing 36 hours were mainly spent in manly mancat sleeps interjected with snacks. Normal Mr Mins service (spending daytimes with The Chumleys and nights with the Carrolls was thus resumed. Which is good news as the cold fogs have returned to Upper Much-Mousing. The season has also ushered in fireworks for the UK Bonfire Night celebrations. No peace for us now till beyond the New Years!

Without further ado, here is not so little Mr Mins doing his version of calisthenics. And for all of you that like a tummy to tickle, he is 100% open to any offers. If you have a sofa or bed large enough, this guy has a heart (and seemingly an unending tummy) big enough to accommodate your tickles.

How are you guys dealing with the oncoming gloom and damp of winter?

A Casual Selfie.

Hello, and welcome to our latest Sunday selfie from the Chumley & Hudson Investigation Team!

Well, October is upon us, and yet with the changes in the seasons things have not changed too much here. There are still plenty of leaves on the trees, and some of our flowers are still blooming.

One thing that is also still blooming is Mrs H's UTI which seems intent to linger on till Christmas. So despite best efforts, Dr Hatchette was called, more meds issued, and more gallons of water than seems possible for one human to drink, have been drunk, and will continue to be so for the foreseeable!

Anyways, here is MY selfie. I was trying to show off this lovely new IKEA chair that Mrs H bought ME as Mr Mins is so huge when he stretches out on MY sofa, I cannot get on.

Mr Mins decided he wanted in on the act so wandered in and sat down and posed.

I kind of actually like this shot as it is very natural, uncontrived, and at least both of us, mainly me, are actually not napping.

Erin sits on her new Poang Ikea chair, which is in grey fabric. Mr Mins sits on his haunches in front of her on the floor, sideways on but looks at the camera. Erin looks resigned to having her picture photo-bombed.

Do you have your own furniture? If so, is it a human sized chair or sofa that is yours and only yours? Please let us know in the comments as well as ideas as to how to regain possession of a usurped sofa; asking for a friend 😉
