A link to last week's story about 'Preparations' can be found HERE.

If you want to see some of my, or rather Mrs H's foot first Friday Foto failures, then click the link HERE.

This week Mrs H and I had a disagreement.

She wanted me to sit down and do some math, and I wanted to test drive a nanna which is reaching just the right stage of ripeness – not too soft and not too hard, and definitely NOT brown, MOL

Anyways, she says I haven't got the gist of math – which is why the shopping bill is always high – and I need to recite my times tables.

Well got as far as the one times table and then things fell apart. She says one mouse and one mouse make two mice. I, however, say that one mouse and one mouse make a light lunch and supper for one. Clearly, I am right on this and it is Mrs H who needs to re-evaluate.

We haven't got as far as fractions, but I am predicting it could all get a bit messy!

Thank you for visiting this week, and I hope you enjoyed this week's mini disagreement and my selfie. If any of you have the same sort of issues; be it subtraction of treats, multiplying of naps, or just plain ol' division of labour, please leave your findings in the comments below.

I tell you something, that 'nip nanner is totally epic and transcends arguments!!

ReplyDeleteWell, you'd have thought so, but it does cause a few too, though mainly in my head, MOL

ERin

You look so proud with your 'nanna' prey selfie! Purrs and hugs!

ReplyDeleteSure happy to have a nice one to play with, and it's all mine!

DeletePurrs

ERin

Cats and math just don't go together!

ReplyDeleteCat math is much like other cat things I guess – you have to be a cat to get it, MOL

DeletePurrs

ERin

Your nanner selfie is most adorable sweet Princess!

ReplyDeleteThanks, Me and My Nanna should have been the title.

DeletePurrs

ERin

We think a nin nanner is way more important than maths, Erin. We're pretty sure there would be arguments here, too. Hugs to you and Mrs. H.!

ReplyDeleteNip is the top score in my school book, MOL

DeletePurrs

ERin

Math/smath - everyone knows nanner time takes priority!

ReplyDeleteNanna breaks are a key part in any schedule ;) MOL

DeletePurrs

ERin

The nip Nanna is far more interesting, and why would you want to swot up on maths when you have Mrs.H to do it for you!

ReplyDeleteGood point. But sometimes I do have to go shopping and I do need to make sure I get the right change for the nip I buy ;)

DeletePurrs

ERin

Math? Times Tables? Don't worry yourself about the human logic, Princess. It's all just a bunch of jumbled up marbles. Tee hee hee. But the nanner - that of the yellow with nip kind that is - is worthy of our time and energy. Mine is right by the heater so it is warm to the touch when I take it for spin later. Tee hee hee. You and your nanner make a great team. I bet it never wants to leave your side. I would be that nanner if it meant that I could be there with you. Purr purr purr and kisses.

ReplyDeleteOh you do know how to tease a girl, Val. A warm prince Val by my side beside the raging fire in the palace, and my heart would be a perfect Christmouse present. Maybe we could sort Mrs H's times table out when it comes to how many roast potatoes we get for christmas lunch ;)

DeletePurrs

ERin

We'll skip the math but we love the nip nanner and your selfie!!

ReplyDeleteThe Florida Furkids

Thanks, the nip is definitely top of the class around here, well after snacks and mice. ;)

DeletePurrs

ERin

Your nip nanna is more interesting than maths ! Great selfie ! Purrs

ReplyDeleteThanks, schoolwork is not for December I have decided ;)

DeletePurrs

ERin

Mum says maths is boring so forget about it and leave it to the humans!

ReplyDeleteLovely selfie :)

I try but I often have to pay the staff as well as buy bits and pieces of shopping on line so have to be able to do some math. Heck, nice as it would be, 200lb of nip nannas would go off befire i could use them, ;)

DeletePurrs

ERin

I like your math! And what a darling selfie.

ReplyDeleteThanks, I tried to calculate the selfie just so, MOL

DeletePurrs

DeletePurrs

ERin

Mathematics is such a human concept, Erin! Enjoy that nanner.

ReplyDeleteYou are right, alas the modern feline needs to be able to shop in this human world, even if it is with Mrs H's plastic, ;)

DeletePurrs

ERin

Erin it is plain as the mouse in my mouth that you have it right. Purrs

ReplyDeleteThanks, I thought so too. Now, as to this mouse of yours, what flavour? ;)

DeletePurrs

ERin

Okays, here's some math that Mrs. H has to gets her head around..... YOU, the PRINCESS, are always NUMBER ONE, and everyone else is two..or three...or whatevers....you gets my drift, rights??! BOL! Plus, I don't thinks she wants to mess with you....that looks says it all my furiend! BOL!!!

ReplyDeleteKisses,

Ruby ♥

Awww, thanks. I have pointed Mrs H to your comment and she agrees, albeit with a slight stern look of disapproval – or maybe it was a grin; sometimes it is hard to tell with all the flour eveerywhere – and she has said I can carry on as normal till Christmouse eve when I have to be all proper and ladylike. ;)

DeletePurrs

ERin

ERin you definitely have a ripe nanna there to enjoy. Our mom pays the bills, but says math isn't her strong suit.

ReplyDeleteYou're princess! Take your Nanna!

ReplyDeletePinot xo

Clearly Mrs H needs extra tutoring in maths. I mean, you are so obviously right and SHE is so obviously wrong!

Oh, my goodness! Is that look doesn't tell Mrs. H to mind her own bee's wax, I don't know what would!

ReplyDeleteI could've sworn I'd commented here! You tell Mrs H, that 1 mouse = not enough. And infinity does not equal too much!

ReplyDeleteAre you really eating bananas ? Arthur eats green beans, so why not !

ReplyDeleteDearest Princess (and Ms H) We don't get out on the interwebs much anymore, we just HAD to stop by!

ReplyDeleteMay the treasures and pleasures of Christmas be with you with love and peace all year through. Merry Christmas!
