Fractious fractions

Hello, and welcome to The Sunday Selfies!

We are joining The Kitties Blue, from The Cat on My Head blog, for the weekly celebration of blogs and bloggers from across the world and across the species.

To join in, get the Linky-Link code from their website, add it to your page, and enjoy the hop!

A link to last week's story about 'Preparations' can be found HERE.

If you want to see some of my, or rather Mrs H's foot first Friday Foto Failures, then click the link HERE.

This week Mrs H and I had a disagreement.

She wanted me to sit down and do some math, and I wanted to test drive a nanna which is reaching just the right stage of ripeness – not too soft and not too hard, and definitely NOT brown, MOL

Anyways, she says I haven't got the gist of math – which is why the shopping bill is always high – and I need to recite my times tables.

Well, we got as far as the one times table and then things fell apart. She says one mouse and one mouse make two mice. I, however, say that one mouse and one mouse make a light lunch and supper for one.  Clearly, I am right on this and it is Mrs H who needs to re-evaluate.

We haven't got as far as fractions, but I am predicting it could all get a bit messy!

Thank you for visiting this week, and I hope you enjoyed this week's mini disagreement and my selfie. If any of you have the same sort of issues; be it subtraction of treats, multiplying of naps, or just plain ol' division of labour, please leave your findings in the comments below.

To see what our international blogging pals have been up to this week, be it quadratic equations (I think that's crossing all four paws at once), multiple-choice suppers, or chasing a Pythagoras snake, please click the links below, and enjoy the Hop!

  5. We think a nin nanner is way more important than maths, Erin. We're pretty sure there would be arguments here, too. Hugs to you and Mrs. H.!

  8. Math? Times Tables? Don't worry yourself about the human logic, Princess. It's all just a bunch of jumbled up marbles. Tee hee hee. But the nanner - that of the yellow with nip kind that is - is worthy of our time and energy. Mine is right by the heater so it is warm to the touch when I take it for spin later. Tee hee hee. You and your nanner make a great team. I bet it never wants to leave your side. I would be that nanner if it meant that I could be there with you. Purr purr purr and kisses.

    1. Oh you do know how to tease a girl, Val. A warm prince Val by my side beside the raging fire in the palace, and my heart would be a perfect Christmouse present. Maybe we could sort Mrs H's times table out when it comes to how many roast potatoes we get for christmas lunch ;)

    1. Awww, thanks. I have pointed Mrs H to your comment and she agrees, albeit with a slight stern look of disapproval – or maybe it was a grin; sometimes it is hard to tell with all the flour eveerywhere – and she has said I can carry on as normal till Christmouse eve when I have to be all proper and ladylike. ;)
