Practice makes perfect. . .

Hello and welcome to The Sunday Selfies!

We are joining The Kitties Blue, from The Cat on My Head blog, for the weekly celebration of blogs and bloggers from across the world, and across the species.

To join in, get the Linky-Link code from their website, add it to your page, and enjoy the hop!

A link to last week's story about 'Exercise Time' can be found HERE.

Hello, and welcome to the 4th selfie of the New Year.

Remember, next Friday is Pet Photo Fails Friday! So buckle up your corsets, and lace up your pants (trousers in the UK and not undies), and be prepared for some (hopefully NOT literal) side-splitting fails of the feline human kind!

Anyways, enough of the cinema-style teaser, on with the show!!!

Mrs H says she is almost back to fine form. Alas, the gurgling cough tells me otherwise, so I have lessened her load for her by making sure I only have 5 meals a day rather than the usual 6. PLUS, I have been going for a take away too – far less washing up to do.

Anyways, in this week's selfie, you can see me taking my own advice to Mrs H –  rest more, eat more, then rest more again – just to be sure. Seems to work for me so I reckon it should for Mrs H. . . once she's finished the chores, but not the sherry!

Thank you for visiting us this week. If you have any advice, hints and tips on how to reduce one's workload whilst still getting a full days quota of naps and meals, please do rush them to me via the comments section below. I promise I will spend the rest of next week testing them out, maybe even longer!

To see what our international blogging pals have been up to this week, be it handing out tissues or pointing out patches of snow they've forgotten to sweep away, then please click the links below, and enjoy the Hop!

  1. You are giving Mrs.H a very good demonstration on how to relax effectively. I am glad that she is improving and hope the gurgling cough soon gurgles off!

    1. Thank you. Her gurgling off is even worse than gargling off that she does each evening. Heres to warmer weather and better nights sleep, MOL

  2. Sometimes, it is necessary to DEMONSTRATE to humans rather than merely give them advice - which they don't always understand, poor things. Well, they ARE mere Humans, after all. It's best to show them, very clearly, what you mean (mol) - and We think you are demonstrating furry clearly, in this picture.

  8. You keep taking care of Mrs. H and that gurgling sound will be gone in no time. Six meals a day? Most of my cats get just four. I do give Glitter an extra one every now and then when she asks for it. She's losing weight and I do what I can.

    1. Six is OK around here as all depends on volume (not Mrs H's singing!)

It is very kind of you to cut out a meal, I don't knows how you do it...she should be very thankful you are so thoughtful...hehehehee
Sendin' her lots of POTP and healin' vibes!

    1. They do don't they. Imagine if the blanket was my colour, then I'd disappear into it and likely as not Mrs H would sit on me. Now you can see why it is that colour. . . ;)

  16. I see a little black and white jewel there on that blankie and I want to kiss her nose and tell her I luv her.

I think if Mrs. H wraps herself up in that blankie and cuddles with you, and follows your advice, then the coughs should be headed out the window and her back to good form to take on her regular work load. That means you'll soon be back to 6 meals a day. But you are so thoughtful in reducing them to 5 in the meantime to help her out. Purr purr purr.

Till then, my sweet, I send smooches and purrs to you, and hope you will find them as warming and divine as they left me....
